Privacy Policy

This explains what personal information the ChezaX Malawi website (chezax.site) collects, what we do with it and the choices you have. We keep it short and plain on purpose.

1. Who we are and what this covers

The website is run by ChezaX Malawi, powered by Rasta Kadema. You can reach us any time through the support form.

This policy covers this website only. The ChezaX chatroom and other YazaIT products are separate applications and handle information under their own rules.

2. What we collect

  • Support requests. The name, email address, subject and message you type into the support form, plus the ticket number and the time you sent it.
  • Technical details. When you send the form or an admin signs in, our server reads your IP address to limit abuse. We keep that only briefly in memory and do not store it with your ticket. Our hosting provider may also keep ordinary server logs.
  • Your cookie choice. We save your accept or decline answer in your browser so we do not keep asking.
  • Analytics, only if you accept. Which pages are visited and roughly where from, collected by Google Analytics. Nothing is collected before you accept.

3. Cookies

Visitors do not get any cookies from us unless they accept analytics. Staff who sign in to the admin area receive one essential session cookie so they stay signed in for a few hours.

If you accept analytics, Google sets cookies named like _ga. You can change your mind at any time with Cookie settings in the footer, which removes them.

4. Why we use it

  • To answer your support request and send you a confirmation with your ticket number.
  • To keep the site safe, for example to stop spam and repeated sign-in attempts.
  • With your consent, to understand which pages are useful so we can improve them.

5. Who sees it

Only the people who run ChezaX Malawi see your support requests. We use a few providers to run the site, and they handle data on our behalf: Google (to send email through Gmail and, if you accept, for analytics), our database provider and our hosting provider.

We do not sell your personal information or use it for advertising.

6. How long we keep it

We keep a support request for as long as we need it to help you and to keep a record of what was asked and answered. Analytics data is kept for the period set in our Google Analytics account.

7. Your choices

  • Ask what we hold about you, ask us to correct it or ask us to delete it by writing to us through the support form. Include the ticket number if you have one.
  • Decline analytics, or withdraw your consent at any time, with Cookie settings in the footer.
  • Block cookies in your browser settings. The site still works.

8. Security

The site is served over HTTPS, access to support requests is limited to signed-in administrators, and sign-in is protected against guessing. No online service can promise perfect security, so please do not put passwords or payment details in a support message.

9. Children

This website is not aimed at children, and we do not knowingly collect their personal information. If you think a child has sent us details, tell us and we will delete them.

10. Changes to this policy

If we change how we use information, we will update this page and the date at the top. Larger changes will be announced on the site.
